Archery

We have been teaching beginners and have light-hearted competitions since we started 6 years ago. Our experienced instructor will give you a 5 minute talk on how to shoot correctly and then walk around each bowman giving tips to improve your technique. You will receive at least 30 arrows each and will take part in a competition at the end which is always a great laugh. We usually find that people who have chosen to do archery as part of an activity package because it is inexpensive are surprised at how much fun it is.

Age limit: Anyone big and strong enough! We have children's bows too, so it is an ideal family activity where mom, dad and offspring shoot together.

How does a session work?
You receive the technique talk and then start practicing. You will shoot arrows until your arm aches, so it's best to go steady. Once you have had a couple of practice rounds each, the competition starts, with an interesting twist at the end.

How long does a session last?
Depending on the size of your group you will need to set aside between an hour and an hour and a half.

Available on it's own? Yes
